Lakeshore Renovation
This renovation transformed a dated 1980s main floor into a more functional living space through a complete layout reconfiguration. The original plan featured a small, enclosed kitchen with separate living and dining areas that no longer suited the needs of the home.
The kitchen was relocated to the front of the house, replacing the former living room and allowing for an enlarged layout with an oversized island and significantly increased storage. A redesigned front entry now includes built-in bench seating, hooks, and storage, improving everyday organization. The new layout also incorporates a wine bar and an oversized dining table, better supporting both daily use and entertaining.
By rethinking how the main floor was used, and eliminating an unnecessary second living room, this renovation greatly improved flow, function, and storage while creating a home better suited to modern living.
