The Gutsy Walk
The Gutsy Walk is a non-competitive and family friendly event that takes place every year, at over 60 locations across Canada. As the largest fundraiser for Chron’s and colitis in Canada, the Gutsy Walk has raised over $35 million since 1996. CHBA-CO
Our President, Cassidy deVeer, is the current President of the CHBA-CO, an important organization that acts as the voice of the residential construction industry in the Central Okanagan. On behalf of this organization and our industry, Cassidy discusses and addresses critical topics of interest with local, provincial and federal politicians and persons of interest. In addition, Cassidy is a committee member for Provincial Government Relations and a chair of the local Step Code committee. www.chbaco.com
KGH Foundation
The Kelowna General Hospital Foundation is continually fundraising for our community and its rapidly growing healthcare needs. Every year, The KGH Day of Giving focuses on raising funds for patient care advancements to better our hospital and the services it’s able to offer. Beyond these organizations, our team is involved in many other ways throughout the community. Cassidy & Gerald deVeer both volunteer as coaches for different associations, including Central Okanagan Minor Baseball and OKM Basketball. We also make some contributions to the Food Bank for the families in need.
