The Gutsy Walk
The Gutsy Walk is a non-competitive and family friendly event that takes place every year, at over 60 locations across Canada. As the largest fundraiser for Chron’s and colitis in Canada, the Gutsy Walk has raised over $35 million since 1996. We are an active member of the Canadian Home Builders’ Association, an organization that represents and supports the residential construction industry throughout the region. Our CEO, Cassidy deVeer, currently serves as the Executive Officer of CHBA-CO, where she supports builders and trades through advocacy, education, and industry collaboration. KGH Foundation
The Kelowna General Hospital Foundation is continually fundraising for our community and its rapidly growing healthcare needs. Every year, The KGH Day of Giving focuses on raising funds for patient care advancements to better our hospital and the services it’s able to offer. Beyond these organizations, our team is involved in many other ways throughout the community. Cassidy & Gerald deVeer both volunteer as coaches for different associations, including Central Okanagan Minor Baseball and OKM Basketball. We also make some contributions to the Food Bank for the families in need.
